Mālama Asheville Fundraising Paddle
We love giving back to the Asheville community, which is why we've created our Mālama Asheville Fundraising Paddle for local area non-profits.
In Hawaii, where the sport of paddleboarding originated, "mālama" means to foster, or take care of, and is central to a philosophy that we're stewards of this place and all have a responsibility to take care of it.
If you're looking to raise funds for your Asheville non-profit, school group, church group, etc., Wai Mauna Asheville SUP Tours will cut you a check for a portion of that day's SUP rentals. Minimum group size is 10 people, and since $15 of a $39 rental will be donated back to the group, if you paddle with a group of 10 people you'll raise $150 for your organization, or bring out a group of 15 people and raise $225!
Paddles are usually on Friday afternoons but can be arranged at custom times during slower periods of the year. To lock in your date for a summer fundraiser, or to set up a custom time, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'd love to help your group raise funds while having some fun on the water.
